Bill is the Founder and Managing Partner of Mindyra
Formerly, Bill was Managing Partner of Deep Harbor Partners, a private investment business focused on direct investment in healthcare, trust & wealth management, niche manufacturing and technology start-ups. Prior to that, Bill was CEO of Samoset Asset Management company, a private wealth management firm.
Bill spent most of his career at Credit Suisse First Boston where he was a Managing Director and Group Head. Bill developed and ran the new issue debt and syndicate businesses for CSFB in the Pacific Region (i.e. Japan, Non-Japan Asia & Australasia) ranking number 1 in the world at the time. Bill also established and managed a number of new business initiatives (“Yankee” bond business; the Medium-Term Note business and finally, the Emerging Markets bond business in Asia and Eastern Europe) in Capital Markets from New York. Bill oversaw all Fixed Income Credit & Strategy, Emerging Markets and Structured Product Research globally. He was President and CEO of CSFB Data & Analytics, a research company. During his leadership, the firm's Institutional Investor rankings improved from #14 in the United States and not ranked anywhere else in the world to #3 worldwide. In Investment Banking, he was responsible for developing and servicing major client relationships in the Pacific Region.
As a Managing Director of the firm he conducted business in over 40 countries around the world.
Bill previously served as Chairman of Laurel House, a mental health rehabilitation “club house.” Bill served as the youngest Trustee in St. George’s School history and was Head of the Alumni Association. Bill was President of the Delafield Island Association, a Connecticut municipal organization. Bill has served as President of the Tokeneke Club in Darien, Connecticut.
Bill graduated “cum laude” from Williams College with high honors in his history major. Bill holds a MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was student president and received the Business School Award for outstanding service to the school.
Bill is married, has two children and resides with his family in Darien, Connecticut.
Bryan is Co-Founder, Chief Design Engineer and Revenue Officer of Mindyra.
Bryan, who has worked for large corporations, family businesses, start-ups and advertising agencies, was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Arc1, LLC, an innovative company which provides strategic consultation and implementation for e-commerce and consumer product companies utilizing a variety of world-class marketing automation technologies for integrating website personalization, blogging, social media publishing, email marketing, landing pages and calls-to-action.
Previously, Bryan was Chief Operating Officer for Swift Instruments, the oldest family-owned optics company in the United States, where he consolidated operations and rejuvenated the brand which stopped a five-year erosion in sales, reduced operating costs 15% and drove 20% annual growth.
Bryan’s large company experience was as Vice President of Marketing and International for the G. H. Bass division of Phillips Van Heusen, where he was recruited by the President as a key member of the management team that turned around this iconic, consumer brand from $288MM in revenue and $96MM in losses to $450MM in revenue and $53MM in EBITDA.
Before being recruited to Phillip Van Heusen, Bryan was Director of Marketing for the $663MM US subsidiary of Adidas, the international sporting goods giant, where he facilitated the parent company’s buy-out and consolidation of its US distributors to create its wholly owned North American subsidiary.
In addition to graduating from Boston University with a B.A. in Art History and Architecture, Bryan has attended the MBA program at the University of Rhode Island and the M.S., Computer Science program at Brown University. He recently successfully completed MIT's Sloan School of Management Executive Program on Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy. Bryan won a bronze medal at the National Intercollegiate Rowing Championships and has held various board positions at area schools, church and civic organizations.
Bryan is married, has two daughters and resides South Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
Connor is Senior Clinical Advisor of Mindyra
Connor is a postdoctoral research fellow at Temple University. He completed his doctoral training in clinical psychology at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma and his clinical internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Connor has authored nearly 20 peer-reviewed manuscripts and presented over 40 research projects at state, national, and international conferences, specializing in the areas of clinical child psychology, ADHD, and executive functioning. He was recently named the 2018 CHADD Young Scientist Research Award winner, identifying him as one of the top postdoctoral ADHD researchers in the country. He is a specialist in the area of clinical child assessment and intervention, particularly related to externalizing behavior problems. Connor has also received specialized neuroscience training, using MRI methodology, to assess potential relationships between neural variables and psychiatric abnormalities.
Connor is engaged to be married next year, and resides in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Stahl has spent 30 years leading physician organizations, much of it at Hartford Healthcare. As a vice president of HHC, he served as a key physician executive in Integrated Care Partners, the 2000 member clinical integration organization of Hartford HealthCare founded in 2014. Prior to that, Dr. Stahl led the consolidation of 5 practices as the founding CEO of Hartford HealthCare Medical Group eventually employing more than 250 physicians and advanced practitioners. From 1997 through 2012, Dr. Stahl, as CEO and medical director of Hartford Medical Group (HMG), led the transformation of the practice from urgent to primary care and built the staff from 12 to 70 physicians. Dr. Stahl has also served as consulting medical director for many Connecticut employers, including the Hartford Courant, Goodrich Pumps & Engine Control Systems, Wiremold and Jacob Vehicle Systems. He organized and practiced in the occupational medical group at HMG, which provided services to many private and governmental organizations across the state of Connecticut.
Dr. Stahl earned a B.S at M.I.T, an M.D. at the University of Rochester School and completed his post-graduate training in internal medicine at Hartford Hospital. He is an assistant clinical professor at UCONN's School of Medicine and is certified as a Diplomate with the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Stahl is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the Connecticut State Medical Society.
Mr Mercado is a senior technology leader with decades of experience delivering high volume/high performance software solutions for leading global firms. He recognizes the value in keeping pace with the changing software landscape to solve some of the world's pressing issues in the mental healthcare space. He is the steward for Mindyra's technology platform, providing direction and strategy.
Ayrton has held senior positions in most aspects of the financial industry from compliance technology to front office AI trading. At Balyasny he helped develop machine learning tools for automatic trading, at Point72 he designed and developed a scalable high speed/high volume P&L and valuation streaming service. At University Hospital of New Jersey Ayrton implemented SkyMR a medical records service as a solution for the then recently passed HIPAA standards. He's also held positions at AIG Financial Products, ExodusPoint Asset management, Sempra Energy Trading.
David's sales career started at a young age in his family's retail stores in Southwestern Pennsylvania. He has sold everything from financial services and musical equipment to digital marketing and computer services. At each step, whether it was leading teams or in individual sales, he brought tremendous growth to the organizations he worked for. David has an undergraduate degree from West Virginia University and masters degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and the Massey School at Belmont University.
He and his wife Cherry live in a 110 year old family farmhouse in Murfreesboro, TN and have three grown children.
Ms. Lorraine Ali has over 20 years of experience with Billing , Coding and Reimbursement. She is currently the Hospital Billing Revenue Integrity Director at UMASS Memorial HealthCare , previously to this she was the Revenue Cycle Director Behavioral Health Network at Hartford Healthcare, an integrated health system. Lorraine was also an Independent consultant on coding and compliance for PACE (Program Of All-Inclusive Care For The Elderly), a Medicare and Medicaid program. Prior to this, she was the Director of Coding and Compliance Operations at Public Consulting Group, a management consulting firm that primarily serves public sector education, health, human services, and other state, county, and municipal government clients. She was the Director of Reimbursement at Elder Service Plan of Harbor Health Services, Inc (2009-2012) and Instructor- Medical Coding and Billing at The Career Institute of American International College (Jan 2009- Dec 2009). Lorraine also held roles such as Business Manager at NOPCO_Boston Brace (2007-2009), and Rules and Format Associate PPM at Athenahealth (2004-2007).
Tamim Ahmed has headed informatics groups at Aetna, CIGNA and United Healthcare (Optum), and has published extensively on clinical program outcomes in peer-reviewed journals like Health Affairs, Medical Care, J. of Managed Care Pharmacy, American J. of Managed Care, J. of Consumer Policy, Disease Management, and J. National Comprehensive Cancer Networks.
He has considerable experience in delivering strategic and tactical business information to the health care and insurance industry in the Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare segments. His in-depth knowledge of health administrative, EMR, clinical, self-reported (HRA) and pharmacy data has driven innovations in methodology for Risk Adjustment, Disease Management, Case Management, Wellness/HRA, Gaps in Care, Preference Sensitive Conditions, Consumer Decision Support tools, alternative bundled payments, and Life Style Management Programs.
His primary responsibilities at Mindyra include data analysis, predictive model development, and advanced statistical analysis.
Tamim has a PhD in Economics from University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, with a MBA in Healthcare Finance from University of Hartford, CT.
Kristina is a 2019 graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree through Temple University’s Accelerated Master’s program and will earn her Master of Science in Psychological Research in May of 2020. Her research interests include the development of mood disorders in adolescents. More specifically, she is exploring the mechanisms underlying non-suicidal self injury as well as the role those mechanisms play in contributing to psychological comorbidity.
Kristina grew up in Effort, Pennsylvania and currently resides in North Philadelphia just blocks away from Temple’s main campus.
Matt is a senior software developer with over 10 years of experience as a full-stack web developer. He started programming before he was 10 years old and is a versatile engineer with an eye for elegant Solutions. He is an Open Source enthusiast and works exclusively on customized Linux machines. His current areas of deep interest include technologies like: Javascript/node.js, React, embedded systems programming and computer graphics.
Matt holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science but prefers entrepreneurship to academia. He is an avid mountain biker, has lived in four countries on two continents before settling down with his wife in his home country of Poland.
Marcin is a mostly self-taught programmer, whose background is economics (MSc. in 2001) and mathematics (PhD. in 2008). While his favorite programming language is Lisp, he uses JavaScript on a daily basis. He is a dedicated fan and an occasional contributor to GNU Emacs, which, in Marcin's professional opinion, is probably the best text editor in existence.
When not coding or arguing with his mates about the merits of different text editors, he enjoys listening to music, hiking, reading books and playing board games.
Piotr has more than 10 years of programming experience in a variety of industries. His skills range from DevOps to the ability to combine multiple approaches to solve complex development challenges. He stays current and improves his considerable technical skills by contributing to Open Source projects.
Piotr graduated with a Master's Degree in Computer Science from a leading Polish university. In his spare time, Piotr enjoys psychology, playing board games, strolling, reading Fantasy novels and cooking.
Rafał is a passionate developer and from a young age has created projects in various technologies, ranging from Java bytecode modification to mobile applications. Currently, his passions are Javascript and React, but he is also interested in design and crafting computer games. Previously, he developed management systems for one of the largest European car factories.
Rafał holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science. He is also an avid swimmer and during his high school and university years has worked as a lifeguard and volunteered as a firefighter.
