Why Mindyra?: “My experience in healthcare taught me that our bodies were designed “to run around the woods, collect nuts and berries and occasionally run away from bears. In modern society we do not get to live that design (for better and for worse) and therefore live with a variety of system malfunctions, particularly in the realm of mental health (we often don’t get to run away from stress (the bear), with negative effect). Mindyra provides opportunity to bring access to excellent mental health support to a much wider population, with significant benefits.”

Why Mindyra?: "Finding the best mental health solution to cover a large employer population is pretty challenging but the availability of the "right " solution for each individual is critical to the overall health of the workforce. There is so much noise about what is best, but little discussion about the need to understand the illness challenge first and then the ability to select the optimal choice of care appropriate to each individual's needs. The Mindyra focus on providing access to a broad range of mental health services, proprietary measurement of effectiveness, delivered at a reasonable cost, drive my interest in Mindyra. In working with Mindyra there is one place to go for care with access to a range of solutions; one platform under one agreement. They make it possible for the HR head to offer solutions for the entire population in one place that are straightforward and cost effective and easy to use for any employee."

Why Mindyra?: "Mindyra's approach to mental health and wellness is unique in how the team has taken the traditional ideas about mental health and paired those with new, clinical methods that show results. Why Mindyra?: “Having served in leadership roles throughout my career, I am all too familiar with the quality of services generally available to those in need of behavioral health care. While sometimes excellent, that care is often variable in quality and, in many cases, difficult to access. I was attracted to Mindyra for its focus on the key quality issues: the provision of reliable, valid and easy to use assessment tools, education, client tools and treatment options that are just a click away, a unique outcomes measurement system to keep clients on the right treatment path and a focus on proactive wellness alongside clinical care. Mindyra is taking us into the future of behavioral health and wellness.”

Why Mindyra?: “Accurately and systematically evaluating the mental health of patients utilizing standardized, validated measures in acute psychiatric hospitals has, for many years, presented a number of unique challenges. After reviewing the literature and consulting with several acute psychiatric hospital CMO’s, it became apparent that there is no industry standard measurement tool to systematically track the problems and progress of acute psychiatric patients. Mindyra collaborated with Acadia to apply a new testing system across an entire healthcare system.
Working together to apply this testing system across all of Acadia Healthcare allowed us to gather data from thousands of patients and gave us the ability to look at how the our testing system compares with alternative measurement tools.
In our view, there is no better current alternative that clinicians are using in the acute psychiatric space. As we see more movement in the direction of having national benchmarks to better understand patient care, we believe our partnership with Mindyra represents an opportunity to lead that change. As our health system moves towards value-based care, a testing system like Mindyra’s allows us to track patient progress and puts us ahead of the pack in the acute setting. It now becomes quite straightforward to demonstrate the improvements our patients make in a more objective and scalable manner. “

Why Mindyra?: “I was attracted to Mindyra because although psychiatric disorders are extremely common, most people suffering from these disorders do not receive evidence-based care. Mindyra can help rectify this problem by making clinicians and consumers aware of the conditions being treated, providing solid assessment tools to help clinicians make appropriate diagnoses, point clinicians toward optimal treatment strategies, and assisting with the tracking of patient progress.
